We’ve talked about cottage bedroom ideas before. I’ve mentioned rustic too, but this time, we will discuss rustic bedroom sets which I consider more badass. And more vintage (retro) look. As far as I know, it is hard for me to find local furniture store that sells rustic bedroom set like this one below. The only option is to buy second-hand or hire a professional carpenter that can do things right.
Pillow sheets and bed sheets below are also rare items for me, so I need to do some DIY to make things work.
Not quite provide rustic look, but I think these wood paint is enough.
Gray wall paint, rustic wallpaper behind, another different color of wall paint, and wooden floor! All things below seem perfect to create rustic bedroom atmosphere, although for me plantation behind the bed makes kinda awkward.
Usually people won’t design their bedroom like this. I mean, I rarely meet a spacious space behind the bed. Raw wall brick painted white (or is that wallpaper? Doesn’t matter) adds value beside the wood furniture selection.
There is one item in picture below that adds a great value (when other pictures above don’t). It is the floor rug. The interior designer chose it wisely. Rustic is not always about how rustic it is on wood, but also on metal. Yeah, metal. See the metal ornament on the bed and mirror frame?
The ceiling too, makes the bedroom look more rustic. If you want to be more rustic than this, change the flower with another plant that looks more gloomy, because you can not paint a rustic paint into leaves and flowers, can you?
